Raffaella is a member of our foreign trademark department.
She assists clients by advising on and supporting pre-filing strategies and prior art searches, brand evaluation, and the analysis, management and implementation of IP portfolios. Her activities also include filing and prosecuting trademark applications before the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization and worldwide. She handles passive opposition proceedings worldwide and produces opinions on the validity and infringement of trademarks.
Raffaella also has experience in trademark law, Community law, copyright law, European competition law, unfair competition law and out-of-court consulting.
Her consolidated and extensive experience and knowledge acquired over the years, as well her proactive approach and sensitivity to the needs of companies and the market, enable Raffaella to effectively and efficiently interpret and satisfy clients' needs by implementing the most suitable IP protection strategies to enhance intangible corporate assets.
Raffaella handles matters for small, medium and large companies, multinationals, private individuals, research institutions, universities, associations, both foreign and domestic, with a particular focus on foreign clients.
She assists clients in many different sectors, in particular fashion, luxury goods, design, automotive, sports, furniture, construction, food products, and winemaking.
Raffaella also gives lectures in preparation courses for the examination to qualify as a European Patent Attorney.
Raffaella graduated from university with a thesis titled “Problems in international adoption: theory and practice”.
