Fabrizio is a member of our litigation department, specializing in internet-related IP matters, the legal aspects of domain names vs. trademark policies, and domain name grabbing and litigation.
He is also an expert in value/legal assessments of intellectual property (e.g., trademarks, know-how).
An expert on the economic/legal evaluation of intangible assets (trademarks and know how), he assists both private companies as well the Italian Courts as an Official Technical Expert.
His daily practice mainly includes out-of-court matters relating to trademark infringement. In fact, Fabrizio specializes in filing and prosecuting opposition proceedings before the national Patent and Trademark Office, and in out-of-court litigation, negotiations, settlement, and coexistence agreements.
He also has extensive experience in the protection of intellectual property on the internet. His passion for and long experience in this field has led to his frequently being called on to serve as an arbitrator/panelist in national and international proceedings concerning disputes between trademark owners and domain name registrants.
Fabrizio is listed among the domain name experts of the main national and international Dispute Resolution Providers, including the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Czech Arbitration Court of Prague, the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Center, and the Hong Kong and Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center.
Drawing on his extensive experience, Fabrizio assists clients with filing and prosecuting Uniform Dispute Resolution Proceedings before the WIPO and others Dispute Solution Providers worldwide to protect clients' trademarks by deleting or recovering domain names abusively registered by third parties, and he also assists clients through out-of-court litigation and negotiations.
He handles matters for large corporations and small-medium enterprises, both foreign and domestic.
