This page describes how the www.modiano.com site manages the processing of personal data, pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 – GDPR, of users who consult the site and those who interact with the web services accessed telematically from the address www.modiano.com, which corresponds to the homepage of the official website of MODIANO & PARTNERS.

This information notice applies only to the www.modiano.com site, and it does not cover other websites that the user might consult by clicking on links. The information notice is also the result of Recommendation no. 2/2001 which the European authorities for the protection of personal data, assembled in the Working Party set up by Art. 29 of EC directive no. 95/46, adopted on 17 May 2001 in order to identify certain minimum requirements for collecting personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, times, and the nature of the information that the owners of the processing have to provide to users when they connect to web pages, independently of the reasons for the connection.

The processing related to the web services of this site take place at the aforementioned headquarters of Dr. MODIANO & ASSOCIATI SpA and are supervised only by the technical staff of Dr. MODIANO & ASSOCIATI SpA, or by persons who may be engaged for occasional maintenance operations and are designated by Dr. MODIANO & ASSOCIATI SpA.

Internet data

The computer systems and software procedures used for the operation of this website acquire, as part of their normal use, certain personal data, the transmission of which is implied in the use of internet communication protocols.

This is information that is not collected in order to be associated with identified persons, but which by its nature may, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify users.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users who connect to the site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and to the user’s computer environment.

This data is used only to extract anonymous statistical data about use of the site and to check its correct operation, and it is deleted immediately after processing.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data, including via email, to the addresses given on this site entails the subsequent and necessary acquisition of the address of the sender, in addition to any other data entered in the message, in order to respond to requests.

METHOD OF PROCESSING

If the party who provides the data is less than 18 years of age, this processing is lawful only if and to the extent that the consent is given or authorized by at least one of the guardians of parental responsibility, for whom identification details and copy of an identification document have been obtained.
