Alessandro is a member of the patent department, the European patent department, and the litigation department.
He assists clients with drafting and filing their patent applications in the fields of mechanics and electromechanics, patent prosecution, and managing their patent portfolios.
His activities also include drafting and filing national, European, and international patent applications, patent prosecution, and also freedom-to-operate, infringement and validity opinions for patents.
Alessandro works closely with multinational corporations and with small and medium enterprises operating in sectors including aerospace, mobile telephony, automotive control systems, industrial machinery, electricity production systems, graphic display systems, instruments for endoscopy, oral hygiene devices, and the production of containers for body care products.
Alessandro graduated from university with a thesis titled "Study of a metal base for Alpine skiing", as part of a multidisciplinary project which led to European patent EP3238791B1.
After obtaining his degree in aeronautic engineering, Alessandro was an intern at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich as part of the Pan-European Seal Programme.
Before joining Modiano & Partners, Alessandro worked with a leading intellectual property firm in Munich.
