Fabio Baraldo

Patent attorney

Fabio is a member of our patent department. He assists clients with filing and prosecuting their national and foreign patent applications, as well as with managing their intellectual property portfolios.

His duties include the and prior art analysis and searches for trademarks and patents, freedom-to-operate and validity searches and opinions, as well as out-of-court matters and lawsuits before national courts.

Over the course of his professional growth Fabio has acquired a full command of intellectual property rights for products, services and, more generally, to business plans, and he is able to advise clients on developing protection strategies for trademarks, patents and designs.

He has experience in the mechanical engineering and energy engineering sectors, the automatic machine sector and the renewable energy sector, not least owing to his extensive direct experience in product R&D.

He also has solid experience in designs, particularly in the jewelry and costume jewelry sector.

He regularly takes part in intellectual property training activities as a speaker, in public seminars and as part of activities held for specific clients.

He also assists clients with obtaining funds and financing for intellectual property and innovation more generally.

Fabio graduated from university with a thesis titled “An approach to the aerodynamic optimization of a production car for use in competitive sports”.

Prior to joining Modiano & Partners, Fabio worked as a mechanical design engineer in the optics, optoelectronics and optomechanics sector, and in the automotive sector.
