Cinzia is a member of our litigation department. An expert in giving advice and opinions on the trademark validity and infringement, Cinzia has significant and longstanding experience in prior art searches, registrability opinions, and the filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both nationally and at European level.

Her practice mainly includes oppositions, invalidity and annulment actions and appeals, and negotiating out-of-court settlement and coexistence agreements.

She is skilled in the strategic management of trademark portfolios for clients, both physical persons and companies large and small, for the most part Italian, in many sectors including fashion, furnishing, food & wine, cosmetics, electronics, financial services, transport, and hospitality.

Cinzia also advises not-for-profit organizations and companies operating in emerging sectors, assisting them in defining the best steps to take to protect and defend their intellectual property rights based on the specific needs and commercial interests.

Since 2009, Cinzia has been ranked among the “experts” in dispute resolution for the .it ccTLD by the National and International Chamber of Arbitration, and she works on internet-related problems including the protection and recovery of domain names, online infringement, and the protection of intellectual property rights on the internet.

A longtime expert in intellectual property, Cinzia graduated from university with a thesis titled “Intellectual property in the agreement establishing the WTO: TRIPs”.
