Cristina Brambilla

Cristina is a member of our trademark department.

She is an expert in filing national trademarks, but she also has transverse expertise in trademark searches, renewals and surveillance, and is experienced in copyright matters.

With her attentive and efficient approach, she assists clients with national filing with an international outlook, helping them to choose and develop filing strategies that enable them to strike the right balance between expanding products and services in foreign markets and protecting their brand.

She assists clients in analyzing their trademarks, by drafting opinions on confusability with prior rights, assessing the associated risk areas and sifting through the criticalities.

Cristina's practice also includes due diligence operations, with close examination of the relevant data and information in operations linked to intellectual property.

She has consolidated experience in recordals of intellectual property rights, with analysis and drafting of deeds to formalize the ownership of trademarks before the respective authorities.

Her work also includes frequent contacts with Examiners at the national and foreign Trademark Offices, in which she always strives to obtain the most effective solutions to protect the client's IP rights.

Cristina has a wide-ranging command of trademark portfolio analysis, with an accurate and precise appraisal of the possibilities for implementing and updating the examined trademark package and, drawing on her acquired technical, linguistic and legal expertise, she helps clients, both individuals and companies of all sizes, at every step, fully understanding their needs.

She works with clients in the pharmaceutical, insurance, real estate, food, winemaking, industrial, manufacturing, automotive, television, fashion, and luxury goods sectors, as well as in theater, large-scale retail distribution and e-commerce, using her experience to acquire in-depth, specialist knowledge of the fields with which she comes into contact.

Cristina graduated from university with a thesis titled “Opposition to the passive state”.
