She supports clients in developing and implementing strategies that enable them to transform their resources and skills into an efficient intellectual property portfolio in line with the strategic objectives of the company.
She assists clients in preparing and filing their patent applications, as well as with prosecution of the applications. She also provides validity opinions and advises on infringement of third-party patents.
Roberta uses her experience in trademarks to provide advice on trademark selection, drawing on prior art searches and opinions on validity, exploitation and defense, and she also handles prosecution of trademark applications, office actions, and third-party oppositions.
She also has experience in copyright, assisting and advising clients on obtaining copyright and protecting their works.
She provides consultancy services to private individuals, not-for-profit associations, startups and national and international corporations, in a wide range of sectors including food & beverage, retail sales, publishing, media, electronics, software, packaging, construction, consumer goods, fashion, beauty and entertainment.
Roberta graduated from university with a thesis titled "The use of patent searches to increase the value of the intellectual property of a company: a case study with HERA S.p.A."
