Maria Cristina is a member of our department for managing changes in ownership of intellectual property rights.
She handles the drafting and analysis of the contracts for submission to Patent and Trademark Offices to update the ownership of intellectual property rights filed in Italy, Europe and worldwide.
Her activities include the translation, from and into English, of documents including deeds of transfer, merger and licensing, or title search certificates; she also advises on the consular legalization of documents to be submitted to Patent and Trademark Offices.
She also provides tax advice for documents to be submitted to local administrations that need to be registered for tax purposes in order to complete the recordal operations.
Maria Cristina actively works with the other departments of our firm to resolve disputes as a result of the filing in bad faith of trademarks or patents.
Her practice also includes regularly consulting the databases of the Patent and Trademark Offices of Italy, Europe and worldwide, which enables her to deliver prompt answers to clients' various needs.
Her work covers trademarks, patents and designs and she works with clients in various sectors including fashion, the food industry, research, and mechanical engineering. She works with multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises, physical persons, universities, research institutions and fund management companies, in Italy and abroad.
Maria Cristina gained her diploma from a High School for Interpreters and Translators with a thesis titled “Acoustic pollution: causes, problems and possible solutions”.
