Domenico works principally on patents, but has broad expertise in all intellectual property law.
He assists clients with filing and prosecuting applications for patents, designs and trademarks and, more generally, with managing their IP rights portfolios, working closely both with R&D departments and with commercial representatives of client companies.
His practice also includes prior art searches, for both patents and trademarks, freedom-to-operate and validity opinions, out-of-court matters and disputes before the national courts, due diligence activities, and strategic IP planning.
Domenico also assists clients with licensing, distribution, confidentiality and settlement agreements in general.
He works with clients operating in the sectors of mechanical engineering, machine tools, construction, metallurgy, paper manufacturing, food & beverage, and medical devices. His clients include international groups, small and medium enterprises and private clients.
Domenico graduated from university in mechanical engineering with a thesis titled “Preliminary analysis for the design of a high-performance vehicle with hybrid propulsion”.
