Claudio works in our department for prosecution and maintenance of European and extra-European trademarks.
His practice includes managing clients' trademark portfolios, and creating prosecution and filing strategies for international registrations and national and foreign trademark applications. These activities have enabled Claudio to acquire considerable experience in oppositions and passive lawsuits before foreign administrative offices and courts, with the assistance of local counsel.
He also assists clients with advice on coexistence agreements and out-of-court solutions to trademark disputes.
Claudio is frequently involved in European and international trademark disputes, representing clients that include large multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises, individual inventors and research institutions.
In his work, he strives to understand the needs of the clients and of the sectors in which the clients operate, including foods, fashion and textiles, automotive, furnishings, construction, electronics, cosmetics and medical/pharmaceutical.
Claudio has highly specialist experience in protecting clients' trademark portfolios at international level, with a particular focus on extra-European jurisdictions including the USA, Japan, Canada, Russia and China.
Claudio graduated from university with a thesis titled “The family pact for enterprise”.
